Moto2™ rider sets out to help up and coming talents shine

As the countdown for the ninth round of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship at Autodromo Internacional do Algarve begins, it has been announced Pedro Fragoso will be debuting as a wild card in a team run by Miguel Oliveira. With the Moto2™ rider supporting young Portuguese talent, it will be an important weekend for the youngster.

Fragoso has been racing with the Oliveira Cup motorcycle school since 2016, and the 15 year old has been progressing with the help of Oliveira as a mentor. Currently sitting in fifth in the national championship, the Portuguese rider will be keen to impress his home fans on the world stage.

Explaining his thoughts ahead of his debut in the Nolan Portuguese Round, Fragoso begins: "I am very grateful to the Miguel Oliveira Fan Club for giving me this opportunity to participate in this World Championship event. I feel that I am getting stronger and better prepared to face this challenge. I certainly want to take this opportunity to the fullest and show what I am capable of. I believe in my team a lot and I am sure we will achieve a good result. I want to thank my family who are always present at all times, and to all those who support me.”
